Working With Wellness promotes a quantum approach to change.

Everyone is functioning at their optimal level of health. You may look or feel stressed, in pain or diseased, but somehow your system is doing its best to be well.


Common Symptoms:

“I can’t sleep.” “I am in a lot of pain.” “I’m depressed.” “I’m anxious.”

“I have no energy.” “I’m scared.” “My back feels like it is in a vice grip.”

Why does this happen? When a traumatic event occurs: an accident, surgery, divorce, abuse, vicarious or developmental trauma… people go into Fight, Flight or Freeze response. This is adaptive at the time, because you survive. If you get locked into a chronic trauma response pattern, then it is not so adaptive. Your body responds to triggers and your mind has it’s own story of why you are in agony. The way to heal is to engage both the body and mind in the healing process.
