Notes from Your Instructor:

We often find ourselves on a hamster wheel, unable to stop thinking. By listening to your body rather than the constant chatter of your mind, you will discover inner resources and new patterns to engage in life more fully.

Join us to experience:

  • Increased ease and range of movement
  • Improved sleep and rest quality
  • Increased lightness of being
  • A deep connection within
  • Decreased Anxiety

What others say:

“I feel taller.” “I am happier.” “It looks brighter outside.” “I was anxious, now I am calm.” “I am warm, and there is warmth moving up my spine.” “I realize I am in pain.” “I am more steady on my feet.”

Somatic Affective Talk and Touch Training Program

A 2 year Somatic Affective Talk & Touch® Training Program. SATT is a healing modality that uses gentle touch and simple dialogue to raise awareness and offer choice. It IS possible for your mind and body to move together with greater ease and comfort.

What would be the benefit for you to take this training?

It is a transformative program that will give you new skills to engage in life and work. Simple, clear, supportive and present. It can take years to master “simple”, unless you are taught the basics and have an opportunity to practise.  This program is an excellent compliment for people who work with other people.  It teaches how to use touch and talk while listening to the physical, emotional, energetic, intellect and spirit.  If you are trained in touch (massage, kinesiology…) or talk (counsellor, psychologist …) and/or  you are interested in engaging in your life differently. You are looking for a program that will support your self development by increasing awareness and a choice to move holding patterns towards comfort and ease.

You are looking for something “outside the box” which is grounded in science and experience. SATT offers the opportunity to have an additional skill set applicable for complementary fields of work.

Intro to SATT

This is an introduction to Somatic Affective Talk and Touch®. When talk and touch are combined with awareness, there is a depth of understanding and healing that is physical, emotional, energetic, spiritual and intellectual.

The workshop includes a brief history and some benefits of integrating talk and touch in healing. There is a taste of SATT through experiential awareness. The SATT Approach can bring about deep and lasting change.

SATT is a new modality, created by integrating and simplifying a variety of physical and emotional modalities, by Gilly Thomas, who has been working with people as a bodymind therapist for over 20 years.
